Blueberry Raspberry Jam

I have a new canning recipe for you today! Fresh summertime blueberries and raspberries are in season so it's the perfect time to eat some of those juicy berries fresh and also put some away for another day.

Freezing is a great option for summer berries. Spread them out on a baking sheet and place in the freezer. Once frozen, transfer the berries to freezer bags and enjoy in smoothies and homemade baked goods for months to come. This method of freezing on trays keeps the berries from freezing in big clumps, which can be hard to separate later.

Of course my favourite preserving method is canning, and I have written a new recipe for my friends at Produce Made Simple. This simple blueberry raspberry jam has a glossy, delicate set and the combination of these two berries creates a cheerful, grape-like jammy flavour. I think you'll love it.

Head on over to Produce Made Simple to get my fun summertime recipe for blueberry raspberry jam.
