My middle son and I made this for a party yesterday. We had a problem getting the mixture on the popcorn as even as yours, but it was fun and a hit. I think I might try it with maple syrup to play with the taste a bit. So glad we finally tried it. Such a fun idea!

I'm not sure how almond milk performs under high temperatures, so I couldn't say whether that would work as a substitute. I suppose you could give it a try before pouring over your popcorn? Or just use water instead.
